Senerio is my name but I'm mostly known as Soren. I'm the staff officer and strategist of the Greil Mercenaries but my loyalty only lies on Ike. As long as you don't interrupt me and you are not an animal, we can work together.

Caeda nodded. “I would do that, but there’s quite a bit of distance between here and Altea. And it seems a bit tedious to go back and forth and back again, so I’d rather just stay at an inn,” she responded. Once she did, she tugged on Nauiscaa’s reins and began walking, indicating to the Pegasus to follow along. When she did, Caeda quickly caught up and walked alongside Soren.

“Hm?” the Princess furrowed her brows slightly in a questioning look. “Oh. Well.. I’m not sure. Out of all the kittens i’ve seen before, this one just strikes me as odd. For one thing, it doesn’t have a tag or collar to indicate the little animal belongs to anyone.. Unless uh..” Caeda quickly lifted the kitten and looked under. “..he was separated from his mother. I could just be overthinking this though,” she replied, shrugging her shoulders and holding the kitten close to her chest once more.

Glancing over, she noticed Soren holding a bag and blinked. “Oh! Um, do you want to go ahead and take that bag back to your place, or do you not mind holding it?”

Her statements held logic and reasonable basis. After all he didn’t know exactly where their home was, but he knew there was quite a distance. “I’ll lead you to an Inn then” he claimed as they walk.

I thought that she indeed was over thinking. Maybe she wasn’t use to poor lands or the kind of lands where not only felines would be away from their mothers and fathers, but children would suffer the same path; including myself of course. “It is not such a rare sight for that to happen n this continent” that was my only observation that I could reveal to her, as more would make her over think.

He then focus on her last question. “which bag?”

Caeda nodded and smiled at what Soren said. “Thank you,” she told him as they walked off. However, she tilted her head and tapped her cheek at what was just said to her. “Oh.. is that so? Well.. if that’s the case, I probably really am over thinking this.” She chuckled slightly and shrugged. “My mistake.”

“Hm?” Caeda looked over at Soren and blinked, a bit confused as to why he would ask that. “Oh.. that one in your hand there. With all the items.. It seems a bit heavy,” she said, pointing to the bag in said hand.

[Aah, sorry for short response! Also, I don’t know if you remember, but Soren was holding a bag in your starter. If you did, then forget I said that!]

(ooc: yes I did forget, thanks for reminding me and don’t worry if your reply is short lol, I kina don’t care)

“Is your homeland that different?” I asked right away. I felt like I shouldn’t had asked, but why would someone think of felines and their pets with collars and such items? It is not like Laguz wear them, and not many people use them either; due to funds and other situations.

“If I’m carrying it, then that means I don’t have a problem with it” I stated at her and even though that could have been taken as cold, for me it was very logical. If I’m carrying it, I don’t have problems.

Caeda paused once she heard Soren speak. She was fully expecting him to deny her the help, but this surprised her a bit. As she thought about what he said, she realized that he wasn’t offering full help, but she smiled anyway. Full service or not, any bit of help was greatly appreciated.

Turning around, she gave a nod at him. “Oh.. thank you. That’ll be just fine,” she told him, giving a tug on Nauiscaa’s reins. “Um.. first of all, do you know of any good inns? Finding a good place to stay is a high priority for me at the moment,” she asked. Caeda moved her arm a bit to get a better grip on the kitty and paused once more. Blinking, she looked down at the small furry animal and stared at him.

”..Soren.. Are you.. sure this is a normal kitten? I’m not entirely sure why, but something just now seems a bit off..” The kitten at this moment began to nuzzle into Caeda’s chest, and while she couldn’t help but awe at the sight, something didn’t seem entirely right.

I read her nonverbal language and knew that she was as surprise as I was. “here is one up ahead, but are you you would prefer to stay at an instead of your home when you have easy access due to transportation?” I asked her as we started walking due to that he didn’t want to waste time, but at the same time I would at least try to help her.

I then looked over my shoulder to looked at the feline once again. “what is off?” I asked. I thought it was a laguz at first, but it didn’t seem so; not that I have seem a baby laguz before, so I could have been right from the beginning due to lack of knowledge.

Caeda nodded. “I would do that, but there’s quite a bit of distance between here and Altea. And it seems a bit tedious to go back and forth and back again, so I’d rather just stay at an inn,” she responded. Accurate description of me drawing armors:

Symmetry is an enemy I like to kill slowly. But I like the result anyway ah-ah
And I’m done with the AU meme requests! wooooh! This meme proved that Soren looks good in any style of clothes, it’s like magic can’t exactly say the same for Ike and Ranulf…

Love Potion Experiment with Marth, Merric and Soren

I listened to all suggestions and did my best to fight whatever this potion was. I knew I had accepted the consequences, but I didn’t know this force was going to be this strong.

“It is… the same store Merric…. and I went that time .. we battled. You remember right?” I blurted out trying to pull away the memory and make it objective. It was better if only the two of them went, but what would it be of me if I stay here. Will the potion cause me to follow them?

“I can go too. I just need…. distance” I then added, taking my time to think of a word that would explain the situation.

Merric and Soren had battled? Though it was not really that relevant to the matter at hand I couldn’t help but wonder whether this fight was in the nature of a training match or an actual conflict. Hopefully it was the former but I had witnessed a training match between mages before and it looked considerably more dangerous that a duel with swords. It was frightening to think what injuries could be caused with one miss-timed dodge…Magic made considerable, and often permanent damage to both people and their surroundings… I suddenly reminded myself of the matter at hand. Merric and Soren were obviously physically fine, I shouldn’t dwell.

Back to the topic at hand , it was luck that both Merric and Soren seemed to know the store that sold Panaceas. I turned to Merric to see whether he had any recollection of the store Soren was referring to. I didn’t have an inkling where to find this place, and if Soren was travelling at a distance behind us (which was perfectly fine, we had to take how he felt into consideration), Merric would need to lead the way.

I lowered my head and held my chin in my hand, thinking about that past time. “Let me see…”, I muttered, thinking hard. “We headed out the forest.. and then down the..” I suddenly snapped my fingers and smiled. “Ah! Yes! I remember! It’s actually not too far from here, if I’m correct. I’d be glad to lead the way.”

When I heard Soren mention that he would need distance, I nodded in understanding. “If you’d really like to come, then it’s fine if you need the distance. It.. may be best, if anything..” Because it was mentioned, my thoughts ran back to the time Soren and I had the battle. I rolled my sleeve up and took a quick glance at the still slightly red line running down my forearm. It didn’t happen too long ago, and the wound I had obtained on my arm had scarred up. And for Soren..

I immediately snapped my head over at the other Mage, having become suddenly curious. “That reminds me.. Soren, how is your foot doing? It did heal up well, correct?” I asked, the feelings of slight regret from the incident returning. After blinking once, I shook my head and shrugged my shoulder as I turned around. “Ah.. perhaps we should walk and talk. We’ll need to get that Panacea as soon as possible,” I told him as I then began to walk off, waiting for a reply.

For and odd reason I was happy that Merric remembered our first encounter, which was an awkward one since it ended in a spar with blood and injuries included. I felt my lips come together and form a small smile, a rare one even for myself. I witnessed his action as the potion made me observe him as much as I could and saw the still marks of the injury I caused him.

“Yes, it would best if I keep my distance” I repeated but my feelings turned into a new direction when he mentioned my own injury. I quickly gave my own glance at it and hid it from view. It was not fully healed since I still had the bandages “I-I’m fine” a tint of pink touched my face and I cursed it in silence. “after you…. Marth” I said even though I made a few steps to be behind or next to Merric.

I listened to her carefully. It was odd, at least for me for her not to be allow on that matter. She seem a bit interested, but I guessed that the customs of their continent was a little different. In another story, I was glad the cat was in her arms because she would be a more fitting adoptive mother for the creature.

My thoughts then focused on the fact that she really wanted to look around, an odd traveler to required such company as my own instead of many others who were far more fitting for this task. Sighs escaped my lips and thoughts, maybe even curses were kept on my subconscious.

“I’ll do my best to answer any of your questions as we walk” I offered, even though it sounded like I said yes, it wasn’t a total yes. It was if anything half of the service that she was demanding, which was what she was going to get from me either way; or at least I hoped so.

Caeda paused once she heard Soren speak. She was fully expecting him to deny her the help, but this surprised her a bit. As she thought about what he said, she realized that he wasn’t offering full help, but she smiled anyway. Full service or not, any bit of help was greatly appreciated.
